Bertrand Chamayou is our Artist in Residence 2019! He will introduce us to new and forgotten gems in French music and give no fewer than five concerts:
- Thursday, 25 July with his old friend Sol Gabetta: Le violoncelle français (Debussy Poulenc and Chopin)
- Friday, 26 July – a recital: L’univers Saint-Saëns (Schumann, Ravel and of course Saint-Saëns)
- Tuesday, 30 July with Sol Gabetta, Alina Ibragimova and Andres Ottensamer: Pour la fin du Temps (Olivier Messiaen)
- Saturday, 3 August with Alina Ibragimova, Lawrence Power, Sol Gabetta and Uxia Martinez Botana: La Truite (Schubert and Franck)
- Sunday, 11 August with the Kammerorchester Basel: 80 Years Bartók in Gstaad (Britten, Mozart and of course Bartók)
